Ashley Tisdale brings Sharpay to Madrid

High School Musical hottie Ashley Tisdale was front and center this afternoon at a photo call for her latest movie Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventures in Madrid, Spain. Showing off her long legs, Ashley posed for pictures wearing a cute printed dress along with simple black heels.
“In Spain!!!! So happy to have two days off to enjoy beautiful Madrid. hope everyone has a great weekend! xoxo” Ashley tweeted to her fans on Saturday morning when she flew in, before hitting up press events to promote her new movie, which is on DVD now!

Ashley Tisdale Needed “A Lot Of patience” To Work With The Dogs In Her New Movie

The actress has reprised her role as Sharpay Evans, the character she played in the High School Musical franchise, for Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure. The TV movie sees the character travel to New York in a bid to become a star, but she is left frustrated when her pet pooch attracts more attention.

Ashley filmed many of her scenes with two Yorkshire Terriers, who shared the role of Boi, and insists she developed an appreciation for the dogs – even when they were misbehaving.

“The dogs are really cute in the movie. It was fun working with dogs, but you have to have a lot of patience,” she explained in an interview with British television show Daybreak. “They are just animals so they don’t understand that much and these two dogs – it was their first project ever. They were trained, like, a month before but they were so good and so adorable, you can’t help but fall in love with them.”
Ashley shot to fame after landing a role in High School Musical and will always be thankful for the franchise which launched her career. The 25-year-old star has remained close friends with her castmates including Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron and she regularly meets up with them.

“It was pretty insane; it was kind of like a little dream,” she said when asked how it feels to have been involved with the High School Musical movies. “It’s weird, it was the best time because all of us were really good friends and we had such a good time filming those movies and we had no idea they would become so successful. I feel so lucky and blessed and we have to thank the fans for that.

“Sharpay was such a great character to play and she is so much fun. I am here today because of that character and because of High School Musical, so why not make a movie about her?”
Even though Ashley feels a close connection to the character of Sharpay, she is keen to point out she wants to challenge herself with other roles. The star doesn’t want to be typecast and would love to continue pursuing her interest in both acting and music.

“I am moving forward and I continue to grow as an actor and as a musician so well. So I definitely want to do other things,” she added.

Vanessa Hudgens & Ashley Tisdale: Back Home From Mexico

Bringing an end to a much-needed girls-only getaway, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale were spotted arriving on a flight at LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Tuesday (May 3).
The former "High School Musical" co-stars transitioned from giddy to irritated as they navigated through a gathering crowd of paparazzi after flying home from a short trip to Mexico.
As for the trip down south, Vanessa and Tizzie spent the past few days flaunting their fine bikini bodies while soaking up the sun at an exclusive resort in Los Cabos.
Recently talking about keeping a trim figure, Ashley told Us magazine, "I work out with a trainer six days a week. I'll do cardio for 30 minutes and then the other 30 minutes I'll do light weight training."
The 25-year-old said, "I try to avoid carbs. I'm really strict with the whole protein and vegetables when I'm doing the show, but when I'm not working on the show and not wearing a sports bra I've been kind of letting carbs back into my life."

Ashley Tisdale graces the cover of 'Zooey' magazine, the May 2011 issue, looking pretty and so natural in a pictorial lensed by Derek Wood. In the interview with the magazine, the 25-year-old actress dishes on her latest movie "Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure", about "Hellcats", a weekly drama about the ultra-competitive cheerleading squad at the fictional Lancer University in Memphis, working out with a trainer six days a week and learning different complex routines every week. 

Even though it might seem rather easy, being an actress requires 100% dedication and a lot of hard work. And Ashley knows this since she is completely devoted to everything she does. "It’s so crazy. It’s definitely hard," Ashley says of her hectic schedule.

On filming all the difficult scenes in "Hellcats" she told the magazine that, "When we did the pilot, we had two weeks to rehearse the three cheer sequences we filmed. Then, once we were picked up for the season, we started filming and had only one week to learn everything for the next episode. Now, it’s to the point where sometimes I’ll only have an hour and a half to learn the routine."

Ashley Tisdale Poses Naked For Allure Magazine

Ashley Tisdale is shedding her squeaky clean Disney image with a tried and tested method - a naked photo shoot.
The High School Musical star, 25, appears in Allure magazine's May issue as part of its new nudes shoot, which also features Kaley Cuoco, Keri Hilson and Bridget Moynahan.
'I'm 25, almost 26, but people think of me as much younger because I look young,' she told the publication.

'Being in this shoot was me saying, "I'm not just the young girl everybody thinks I am. I'm actually a woman".'

While she may be all grown up, the star was sure to get her mother's approval before stripping off.

And in fact Lisa, 54, even joined her on the set of the shoot. 
'I've always wanted to be sure my parents approve of what I do,' Tisdale told the magazine.

'Even with my tattoos, my mom went with me. The 'believe' tattoo is because my mom always told me to believe.'
The ink, which runs down her back, is on show in the seductive black and white photograph. She has had the tattoo for several yeears.

The actress, who also appears in the cheer leading TV show Hellcats, also revealed she works hard to stay in shape.

She is at the gym six days a week, alternating between a boot-camp class, cardio, strength training, and spinning.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens Reunite for Ashley Tisdale‎

The High School Musical franchise has come to an end, and Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens recently called it quits. But Ashley Tisdale says she and the former couple will always be the three musketeers.

"We're always there for each other," Tisdale, 25, told PEOPLE of her former castmates Wednesday at the DVD release of her HSM spin-off Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure. "I love being with them. They're so supportive. It's just like a bond. I can't explain it, but they're like a family I've grown up with."

Tisdale says the trio always pick up right where they left off. "We're growing up and we're working on different projects, but we're all super supportive of each other," she says. "They're like my brothers and sisters."

The bond between the three stars, forged beginning with the first HSM in 2006, was evident at Tisdale's Soho House launch party in West Hollywood, where both Efron and Hudgens were all smiles as they came out to support their pal.

Hudgens, 22, rocking a shorter, pinned-up 'do, told PEOPLE she was "feeling great" fresh off a trip to France, where she and her mom "enjoyed eating crepes."

She and Efron, 23, took their turns posing with Tisdale on the carpet, before the three were led to a private area in the back of the venue, where they celebrated with Tisdale's family and other former HSM stars.

Liam Hemsworth has moved from Miley Cyrus to another Disney actress: Ashley Tisdale.
21-year-old Liam and 25-year-old Ashkey were seen leaving Boa Steakhouse in Los Angeles together, after attending the star-studded In Style Magazine Oscars after-party. According to Daily Mail, Liam was keeping a protective hand on Ashley's arm.

Ashley Tisdale Showing Off Her Fashion At A Gym In Vancouver

Of course Ashley Tisdale could make a bundled-up getup look that insanely cute. The Hellcats actress wore a funky Native American themed coat to the gym in Vancouver, where she has been spotted daily while she shoots her new show.

Tisdale is now in good Hollywood company in Vancouver -- the Breaking Dawn cast rolled up the airport earlier this week, in preparation to shoot the new sequel. She also attended a Vancouver Canucks game with the Hellcats crew, and almost ran into Tom Cruise, who was also taking in the match!

Ashley Tisdale & Aly Michalka's Canadian Workday

Back to work up north of the border, Ashley Tisdale and Aly Michalka were hard at work on the set of "Hellcats" in Vancouver, Canada on Monday (January 31).
The lovely ladies dutifully took their turns in front of the cameras, with Miss Michalka being joined by fellow co-star Gail O'Grady during the filming session.
Meanwhile, fans can look forward to catching Ashley, Aly and the gang in an all-new episode of "Hellcats" tomorrow night (February 1) at 9/8c on The CW.
